Engineering suffers from a major perception problem. From consumer marketing and trade communications,  engineering for years has been stereotyped as a “man’s world”, with limited understanding of what the career actually involves, portrayed as all dust, hard hats and bridge building. So it’s not surprising to know that engineering hasn’t been connecting with or exciting young women as a potential career path. In short, we wanted to build awareness that engineering is behind everything around you, and in doing so, reveal the diverse options that a career in engineering offers.
